Thịt rửa sạch, xay riêng từng phần thịt nạc và mỡ. Cho thịt vào âu, thêm bột mì, hạt tiêu, bột ớt, đường, muối, mật ong, bột ngọt trộn đều. Thêm từ từ 40g nước vào trộn chung. Thịt sau khi lấy từ tủ lạnh ra bạn trộn đều lại thịt một lần nữa, sau đó nhồi thịt vào lòng heo. Sau khi nhồi thịt vào lòng, bạn dùng dây buộc vào thành từng đoạn. Bạn dùng tăm chọc 7 đến 8 lỗ trên từng chiếc lạp xưởng để thoát hơi sau đó đem đi phơi khô vỏ lạp xưởng. Sau khi phơi khô bạn bảo quản lạp xưởng để dùng dần. Khi ăn thì cho lạp xưởng vào nồi nước đun nhỏ lửa cho đến khi bọt trắng xuất hiện thì vớt ra để nguội.
Bạn đun nóng một ít dầu ăn trong chảo, cho lạp xưởng vào chiên cho chín vàng là được.
