Đậu hũ rửa sạch, để ráo, cắt mỗi miếng thành 4 phần đều nhau.
Hành tây bóc vỏ, rửa sạch, cắt múi cau. Lá lốt rửa sạch, cắt nhỏ.
Đun nóng 100 ml dầu ăn, cho đậu hũ vào chiên giòn và vàng đều các mặt rồi vớt ra để ráo dầu.
Đổ bớt dầu trong chảo chiên đậu, cho hành tây vào xào. Khi hành tây gần chín thì bạn trút đậu vào, nêm 1/3 muỗng cà phê muối, 2/3 muỗng cà phê đường, đảo đều cho thấm gia vị.
Cuối cùng cho lá lốt, 1 muỗng cà phê bột ngọt vào, đảo thêm khoảng 1 phút là được.
